We were there at -1 deg C. Brrr!
fingers crossed for a trip to beijing in 2012. i also like to go there during the cold climate.
That’s great Dong! I’m super jealous of you Japan trip. Hope to go there someday but not during the winter. Lol.
awesome architectural design…
Marky, watched the making of it on NatGeo. So amazing!
I was here just recently! The inside looked SO majestic! 🙂
Things to Do in Beijing: (Day 2) Olympic Center and Wangfujing Street
Jealous! We didn’t check out the interiors cause we didn’t want to pay for the admission fee. Lol.
This does look like a huge stadium! I love the steel structure 🙂
Wow i was just there and had no idea that i should have made a quick stop here! great pic!
It is Nelieta. Make sure you visit when you make it to Beijing.
Anton, I got so many nice photos kasi. Sayang naman if I do not share them. And photos are enough to entice people to visit a place 🙂 Magsnapshot project ka na rin!
This is a real architectural wonder! Sana matuloy China trip ko this year…
Ian, madalas mag-sale ang CebuPac to Beijing. Abang na ng seat sale 🙂
First off, love the sleek look of your site. 🙂
As for the Bird’s Nest, I dunno…there’s something that doesn’t do it for me. Maybe I have to see it to fully appreciate it. Mukha shang latticed apple pie. 🙂
It wasn’t there yet when I visited Beijing, so I associate the city with more traditional architecture.
Thanks AJ. When I saw the nest on TV, it didn’t seem beautiful to me either. The water cube looked more attractive. I was able to fully appreciate it when I saw it up close.
Sort of an art installation too. Interesting that they shaped it as bird’s nest. 🙂
Marami din me snapshots of places I visited ang gaganda kasi ng mga places kahit wala ka sa picture or with a pic your group, enticing na kuhanan talaga…
Lito, the design’s outrageous and interesting. Haha!
WOW! Looks awesome. Wasn’t able to visit here during our China trip. I’m just wondering kung nakapunta din kaya diyan yung bee na nakita ko sa Summer Palace..? LOL! Lucky bee! 🙂
Bino, hahaha! Hindi siya singing bee, traveler bee siya 🙂
wow!i’ll definitely include this place in my itinerary to beijing.
Definitely a must visit 🙂
